Rucka reschedules / Question collectibles
For those of you anticipating the fifth-and-perhaps-not-actually-final installment of our series of interviews with Greg Rucka, please keep waiting. When I went to Portland, we decided to not actually do a tape-recorded interview in favor of just hanging out and continuing our online discussion when I returned. It would be easier to transcribe that way, and therefore more timely. Turns out though, that we’ve had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances regarding a four-year-old and bedtime. I’ll get this to you as soon as we have the interview.
In other news, I hope to perform another round of updates on the site this weekend, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek of two ultra-rare pieces of Question couture that I’ve picked up in the last week. The first, I picked up at Lacey, Washington’s ultra-cool Olympic Cards and Comics — one of the best comic stores I’ve ever seen. This shirt was printed for a signing at the store by Rucka, Geoff Johns and Mark Waid and features the J.G. Jones stencil from 52 #48. The front features the Olympic Cards and Comics logo. I also got a hoodie with the same design. I think these were from the last of their stock, so keep your eye on E-Bay:

The second shirt was sent to me by Question fan / filmmaker Gary Lobstein. He had one screen-printed for himself, and thoughtfully let me in on the deal. This one features Denys Cowan’s drawing of the Q? from The Question v.1 #36. With the coming update, I’ll upload Gary’s edited image that was used to cut the screens, so you can make one for yourself at home:
