Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

Does this mean Booster's new title is going to be like Exiles?

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

I've never read Exiles. What's it about?

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

Well, I think it started with alternate versions of the X-men traveling around the Multi-verse.  It started around the time of the original Onslaught saga.  I couldn't even find it when it originally started and I thought it had ended, but a local grocery store started carring it acouple of years ago.  I've only followed it periferally.  I think Blink is the only character who's been with the title since the begining.  I thyink that the Sabertooth from Age of Apocolypse and a Female Nightcrawler might also be with the team.

I think they've been to every alternative Marvel U around.  2099, AoA, New Universe, Malibu, a few What if U's etc.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

Oh, that's pretty cool. That'd be awesome if Booster and Rip did that.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

Well, that's what the cover makes me think they're going to do.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

Yeah, I think the Booster series is going to be about booster's mis-adventures through out DC's era's and alternate realities....there is ALOT of potential for the series:cool:

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

Potential for AWESOME. There's nobody I'd rather have tooling through the DC Multiverse than Booster Gold.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

Blink and Morph are the only two original Exiles left. AoA Sabretooth, 2099 Spider-Man, Longshot and Psylocke are the rest of the team.

Nocturne (Nightcrawler's daughter from a universe where he leads the X-Men) left and joined Excalibur or something.

Most everybody else has died at various points.

As for Booster's series... I agree with Flash.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

I personally enjoy the multiverse theory. But I also tend to dislike the idea of realism in things fictional. The real, practical world is all around, so why would I read to get more of it? Why I'm not much a Marvel fan, their characters are all too much of the human and not enough of the super. The multiverse serves as an excellent narrative tool, allowing for writers to explore multiple interpretations of the same character without needing to be concerned with continuity.

On the other hand that can work just as well with Elseworlds type stories, but they seem to do those a bit less when there's the single universe for some reason.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

**Question cameo!**

JSA 20 -- there's a big shot of the current multiverse and there's Vic with Captain Atom and Blue Beetle Ted Kord.  It's not a lot, but it's something.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

Did anyone read that Booster series? I heard it was like Quantum Leap, which I love.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

I realized that I had to stop buying comics just because they had the potential for the Q?-man to show up, so, I never picked it up. Even if it did have Vic on the cover.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

All I knows is that the point of the multiverse was supposedly that it promised a lot more possibilities for storytelling opportunities and I KNOW that it will some day will include more tales of Vic Sage: The Question!!!

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

In the new issue of wizard, there was a 5 questions with dan jurgens interview i read, at the end he said they will eventualy have booster traveleing the multiverse aswell as time, so that definatley makes the chances of seeing vic higher. And on a side note in a little side column in wizard i also read, sometihng about the possibility of a new question ongoing.

Re: The Question in the Multiverse?

I would like to remind everyone that the latest issue of Final Crisis mentions Earth 4. Renee mentions something about the possibility of encountering a different Vic.
