My Question Costume

Here's a few pics of my Question costume:

There's a little beard-bleed through, but on the whole, I think it works well.

Yeah, man, that's awesome! Would you mind if I included it in the Cosplay section of the site?

If you stare at the photos, you can kinda see that he has a gotee.

Awesome costume and mask.  cool

real hair or wig?   I had a thought that one could use nylons or such for the mask as a full over head, then wear a wig over it....it looks like you had the same idea and execuited the plan perfectly  (oooooorrrr I just insulted the hell out of your real hair...sorry if so)

Re: My Question Costume

That is a fantastic piece of craftmanship. I adore the tie. Personally, the "classic" colours aren't my favourite of The Question's outfits, but this is so beautiful that I make no criticism.

Re: My Question Costume

Thanks for the kind words, guys!

Eric: Certainly!  I'd be honored!

Mr. Custom: It's a wig over a 4-way stretch matte spandex mask sewn to match my jawline, to keep from having a baggy neck ruin the illusion.

Re: My Question Costume

Hey...I stumbled upon your Flickr page by accident and realized that I've met you before...I took a picture of you as Green Arrow at HeroesCon in '06.

If you come back to Heroes next year, I request that you wear the Question costume. That would make me pretty happy to see a walkin', talkin' Vic Sage....

Re: My Question Costume

Eric: I probably won't be HeroesCon, but I will be wearing this costume at Dragon*Con this year.  If I do attend HeroesCon again in the future--not as easy as it used to be now that I no longer live in NC--I'll be sure to don my pseudoderm!

Espafregundo: Thanks!

Re: My Question Costume

Where'd you live in NC? I'm just as close to Dragon*Con, but I've always been a little scared to go. I'm not really a big fan of Atlanta in the first place. But who knows...when is it?

Dragon*Con 2008 / Labor Day weekend (August 29 - September 1, 2008)

Fun times. I went to my first one last year. For me... it changed my life. I'd heard of it before... and was scared of going, as well. But I'm extremely glad I went. Definitely something to experience. We only spent one day up there last year... we're planning on Friday to Sunday this year. smile

If all goes according to plan, I might even be going as a 'certain someone' this year... wink

Re: My Question Costume

Where did you manage to find a blue trench coat and fedora? I've been looking EVERYWHERE for one and have had no luck!

Also, any chance you can do a tutorial on how you made the mask? I've been trying different things and I'm just honestly not very satisfied with the results, and I think yourmethod might be more what I'm looking for.
