Question Photography

These are part of a series that i took for a photography class. My buddy Paul and I went up to Mt.Adams in Cincinnati and took almost 100 pictures. I set up a few so that  he would look like the Question.

Re: Question Photography

Nice!

I haven't been to Cincinnati in forever, these make me kind of nostalgic. I have a lot of family down there.

Re: Question Photography

I really like the last one in your first post. It's very moody, it would make a great cover to a tpb about the Q?. Some of these really remind me of the photo-covers of Sandman Mystery Theater. All in all, I think you've done a great job from a purely artistic/technical view and you also managed to capture a very "Question-ish" feel in a lot of your pics.

Indeed. Some of them border on an almost chiaroscuro type of lighting.

I only recently learned what that word meant. I'm never going to attempt saying it aloud, Spanish was never my bag.

It's Italian for a start wink

Chiaroscuro can be pronounced "Key-Are-Roe-Skewer-Oh" Or "Chi-Are-Roe-Skewer-Oh"

It was originally an art term that meant something along the lines of "strong contrasts of light and dark" It became a much more well known term when it was applied to the lighting techniques found in German-expressionist films, and later Film Noir.

It could be difficult, with the moon and light's changing all the time the transisions may not be so smooth, But you seem to know what you're doing, Good luck!

Re: Question Photography

Italian. Spanish. It's all based on Latin. There probably is a word in Spanish that looks and means pretty much the same.
