An old seer tells Vic that Jackie will die in two weeks, and Vic decides to take her home to Hub City.

He's jumped outside their bungalow, however, and finds himself assisted in the fight by Marco, a master of the Brazillian slave dance-martial art of Capoiera, who has come under the influence of Lady Shiva to prove his skill against a North American named "Sage." Guess who fits the bill?

Jackie, Marco and Vic begin the cross-continent trip, but things are growing worse by the day. When they finally get to the Hub, meeting with Myra, the hospitals are overrun by drunken bikers.

Vic and Marco clean the place out, but not in time to save Jackie's life. With nothing left but pain, Vic agrees to fight Marco.
