Vic finally gets a date with the woman at the station who has caught his eye. The event doesn't go as he hoped, however, as he misreads her signals.

Finch assigns Vic Sage to cover his own high school class reunion. Vic attends the dreaded event with his camera crew. Just as he was thinking his former classmates weren't so bad, he overhears one say that he is as much a monster as he was in high school.

While Vic is going on dates and covering reunions, Junior Musto breaks into a hospital to steal a heart. He takes the organ to the prison infirmary where his father is suffering from the gunshot wounds Junior gave him a year ago.

Junior forces the doctor to do heart transplant surgery and demands to see the Question.

Vic goes into the operating room to talk to the terrorist's son. Junior wants to know why The Question told him he was lucky. The masked man explains that at least Junior knows that he problems are caused by his father.

Benno Musto dies in spite of the doctor's efforts. Junior kills the Doctor before Vic can stop him. Vic asks O'Toole to go easy on the kid because the scar-faced boy is just a sad monster -- and he knows what it's like to be a monster from experience.
